Laparoscopic (Key Hole) Surgery

We have invested in the most up to date Laparoscopic equipment and are delighted to offer keyhole surgery to our patients. We have been using a keyhole approach to spay dogs for years. We strongly feel this should be the way all dogs are spayed because it is associated with less pain and far quicker recovery times. We can routinely spay dogs of all sizes in this way.

Laparoscopic surgery can also be used for liver and pancreatic biopsy, removal of retained testicles (cryptorchid surgery), exploring the abdomen, removal of bladder stones and gastropexy.

Laparoscopic-assisted surgery can also be for intestinal surgery and foreign body removal.

Our laparoscopes can also be used for rhinoscopy, which is looking up noses to remove foreign bodies or take biopsies.
